Early Intervention Classes

Jackson Area Council on Alcoholism and Drug Dependency, and the TN Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services is pleased to offer an alternative to Level 1 Outpatient Counseling in a one day-three hour lecture-format. The JACOA Early Intervention Classes are ONLY for the individuals who are at least 18 years old, and in the Beginning Stage of chemical dependency.

 

Each participant will receive increased insight into:

1. Chemical Dependency - A Disease​

2. Denial - The Main Symptom of Chemical Dependency

3. The Three Stages of Chemical Dependency - Emphasis on Beginning Stage

As of this time, JACOA offers a three (3) hour Monday morning class from - 9 a.m. - Noon

FEE's:​

• $150 Monday Class

• $25 Re-schedule fee if client certificate is already made

All persons registering for the Early Intervention Class must have all paperwork completed and registration fees paid before the class is scheduled to begin. We do not take walk-ins the day of class.​
